D4C DENTAL BRANDS, INC. in Georgia is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support dentists, prep and assist with procedures, and help ensure smooth patient flow across offices. The ideal candidate has a caring demeanor, strong communication, and is comfortable with travel to affiliated offices.

Training and development are provided, with emphasis on quality patient care and teamwork. Experience in orthodontic assisting is preferred, but we will support training for the right applicant who

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Orthodontist Assistant state certification (EFDA/EDDA) or related credentials preferred; training supported.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Provide patient care and education, maintain facility cleanliness and organization.
• Travel to multiple offices as needed to support orthodontic services.
• Attend meetings and continuing education sessions as part of ongoing development.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, parents, and staff.

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring children develop healthy habits and a lifetime of beautiful smiles! Orthodontic Dental Assisting experience is preferred, however, we will support the training and development of an experienced dental assistant. Requirements

• A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
• An Orthodontist Assistant state certification, included but not limited to, nitrous oxide, dental radiology, and expanded function dental assistant (EFDA) or expanded duties dental assistant (EDDA).
• CPR certification

Job Related Experience

• Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.
• A minimum of 1-year orthodontic assisting experience.

• Must have PC skills and be able to learn and successfully use new programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.

Working Conditions

• Hours may change to meet the business needs.
• Travel to offices that provide orthodontic services may be required.
• Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events and morning huddles.
• Nature of work requires an ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with patients, their parents and staff.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and be able to twist, turn, bend and stoop.
