Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support acute care orthopaedic surgical units. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, with emphasis on assessments, planning, and collaborative decision-making.

Requirements include 2+ years of direct patient care, an active RN license (state or compact), and BLS certification. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred, with strong communication and critical thinking

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• RN license (state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.

• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Coordinate safe, efficient care delivery, ensuring thorough documentation and collaboration across disciplines.

• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering a competent and professional nursing workforce.
• Adhere to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines to ensure quality and safety.
