Job summary

SpaceXSI seeks an AI Tutor for Oromo to help train and refine Grok's voice and language capabilities. You will annotate audio, translate UI content, and contribute to multilingual data quality that informs product development.

This temporary role supports our global user base, with remote work options across several countries. Candidates should demonstrate Oromo proficiency (CEFR C1) and strong English (CEFR B2) and be prepared for a 6-month term with potential extensions based on needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Oromo at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.
• Native proficiency in Oromo (preferred).
• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher (preferred).
• Experience in transcription or audio annotation with attention to accents, prosody, and recording quality.
• Translation or localization work between English and Oromo (preferred).
• Voice recording or audio production experience (preferred).
• Background in linguistics, phonetics, or speech sciences (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips using proprietary tools.
• Translate and localize text from English into Oromo, with accuracy and natural phrasing.
• Help produce clear, natural audio data capturing prosody, intonation, and accent details.
• Collaborate with technical staff to refine annotation guidelines and tools.
