Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Agronomy Technician to safely apply fertilizers and IPM practices for our landscape maintenance properties in Orlando, FL. You will identify turf and ornamental issues and implement treatment plans in coordination with regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will handle product mixing, equipment operation, and meticulous record-keeping while ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides per label instructions.
• Ability to diagnose turf and ornamental issues and plan IPM strategies.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise.
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides to lawns, shrubs, and plant material according to industry practices and label instructions.
• Preparing and mixing products per label instructions and product specs with proper safety precautions.
• Ensuring safe and proper operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment; following safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records of products used.
• Completing all required correspondence regarding work orders.
• Maintaining customer rapport and meeting expectations through clear communication.
• Using hand tools, power tools and IPM equipment.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
