Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Agronomy Technician to responsibly apply fertilization and IPM needs across our landscape maintenance properties in Florida. You will identify turf and ornamental issues and ensure applications follow label instructions and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience applying turf fertilizers and pesticides.
• Ability to identify turf/ornamental issues and diagnose problems.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and label instructions.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise.
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides to lawns, shrubs and plant material per label and regulations.
• Preparing and mixing products per label instructions and safety directions.
• Ensuring safe operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment and following safety standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Keeping accurate records of products used.
• Completing required work-order correspondence.
• Maintaining rapport with customers through communication and meeting expectations.
• Using hand and power tools to perform IPM duties.
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
