Acara Solutions in Orlando, FL is seeking a Specialist Engineer 1 to join a mechanical engineering team on a 12-month, temporary assignment. The role focuses on developing technical specifications, defining requirements, and supporting mechanical systems from design through manufacturing and field execution.

You will work closely with engineering, procurement, suppliers, customers, and project teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure solutions meet design standards and project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years in mechanical systems engineering with specs/design/docs.
Knowledge of gas turbine auxiliary systems (air intake, enclosure, ventilation, fire protection).

Responsibilities

Prepare technical specifications and evaluate supplier bids.
Support mechanical systems including air intake systems, air-cooled heat exchangers, noise enclosures, and fire protection systems.
Review designs and technical documentation to ensure alignment with requirements.
Provide technical support to procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and warranty activities.
Coordinate with lead engineers, customers, suppliers, procurement, engineering teams, and project management.
