JMJ PHILLIP is seeking a Sales Technician to drive sales growth in the Greater Orlando area, delivering exceptional service and technical support to customers in the field. The role blends consultative sales, equipment maintenance, and relationship management to provide value-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and comfortable engaging customers on-site. 3–5 years in sales or field service, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, field service, or customer-facing technical support.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience assembling, repairing, or servicing equipment.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to lift equipment and perform physical work in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Conduct regular customer visits to assess needs and recommend products, services, and equipment solutions.
• Generate leads through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and on-site demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate solutions, and close sales opportunities.
• Inspect customer equipment and recommend maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or replacements.
• Perform basic equipment assembly, troubleshooting, and repair as needed.
• Deliver technical guidance to maximize equipment performance and productivity.
• Build long-term customer relationships through responsive and professional service.
• Maintain inventory levels for service vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinate product deliveries and inventory replenishment as required.
• Document customer visits, sales activities, and service recommendations.
• Maintain accurate customer records using CRM tools.
• Submit expense reports, activity reports, and territory updates.
• Monitor market activity and communicate customer feedback to management.
• Follow safety policies and driving qualifications; promote safe work practices.
