Job summary

System One is seeking a Maintenance Controller for onsite contract work in Orlando, FL. You will manage daily maintenance planning and support for Thales IFEC systems across global aircraft, coordinating with maintenance teams and customers during installations, modifications, or reactivations at MRO facilities.

The role requires a FAA Airframe Certificate or progress toward one, 5+ years in aviation maintenance or 2+ years with Thales IFEC, and strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• FAA Airframe Certificate or equivalent with proof within 18 months or in progress.
• Minimum 5 years aviation maintenance experience or 2+ years with Thales IFEC systems.
• Ability to read structural and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of Boeing 737/757, Embraer E, and Airbus A320 family preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling, and support activities for Thales IFEC systems across global aircraft.
• Coordinate with Maintenance teams to resolve IFEC maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate with customer representatives during IFEC system installation, modification, or reactivation at MRO facilities.
• Implement and oversee processes for controlling aircraft maintenance records and internal/external communications.
• Provide daily status updates regarding maintenance, delays, and issues, with clear records.
• Review and validate technical data instructions for accuracy and compliance.
• Interpret and manage warranty issues and claims related to workmanship and quality.
• Perform system checks and troubleshoot Thales IFEC systems for optimal performance.
