Job summary

MPI is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a Florida general contractor serving commercial and public-sector projects in the Orlando area. You will support Project Managers from preconstruction through closeout and gain hands-on exposure to schedules, RFIs, submittals, and budgets.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Experience with public-sector projects is highly desirable.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
• Organized communicator ready to develop toward Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, and owners
• Track schedules, budgets, procurement, and project progress
• Help maintain quality, safety, and contract requirements
