Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) seeks an ORION Electrical Test Engineer Associate for the 3rd shift at Kennedy Space Center, FL to develop test plans, procedures and automate tests for Orion spacecrafts.

The role involves testing on flight articles and ETA, collaborating with systems engineering, software, test labs, manufacturing and NASA, and being willing to work extended hours and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related degree with up to 2 years of experience.
• Must have hands-on electrical, computer or aerospace test experience.
• Willing to work extended hours, including 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, in support of test activities.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test procedures, and automated test scripts for system and subsystem-level electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft.
• Perform test procedure checkout in the Orion Test Labs in Denver and Houston
• Execute test procedures on current flight articles (Artemis II and Artemis III), the Environmental Test Article (ETA), and future vehicles under Orion production
• Collaborate with team members across the program including systems engineering, CPEs/RSEs, software, test labs, manufacturing, quality, and NASA
