Job summary

ARES Corporation seeks an Orion Cabin Integration Engineer to support NASA’s Orion Program at Kennedy Space Center, onsite in Merritt Island, FL. You will apply systems engineering to establish and perform integration activities and manage interface documents.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork with NASA and industry partners, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across milestones while adhering to program requirements.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited school with 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in product life cycle development, systems engineering and integration principles
• Excellent written and oral communication, coordination, and presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with customers and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering to establish and perform system integration activities
• Manage Interface Requirements Documents and Interface Control Documents
• Integrate Operations and Maintenance requirements with external contractors and NASA
• Perform lifecycle-based system integration activities including documentation
• Establish relationships with NASA leads, system managers, and partners
• Provide systems expertise during milestones and reviews
• Promote digitization and SE&I process improvements
• Trade studies, requirements management, testing, and modeling
• Perform other duties as required
