Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring an Orientation Trainer to administer and track new hire orientation and onboarding, ensuring compliance with company standards. You will supervise trainees, coordinate sessions, and collaborate with HR to align training with yearly plans.

The role requires strong organizational skills, professional communication, and comfort working in a plant/industrial setting. Pay is $22.00 per hour with a Sunday–Thursday schedule and benefits including health cover and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in Communications, HR, or similar preferred, but not required.
• Experience in training and the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently in a plant/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Orientation Trainer

POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer, track, and evaluate all New Hire Orientation and Onboarding training in accordance and compliance with the People Pillar
• Supervise new-hires during the training period and make recommendations to management and/or Human Resources regarding training needs, concerns and continued employment.
• Develop and promote positive working relationships with new hires, peers, leaders and clients.
• Meet with trainers, supervisors, Human Resources, and Benefits coordinators to review training materials and processes
• Schedule and coordinate training for multiple, sometimes simultaneous, training sessions
• Organize and maintain training venues, logistics, and equipment.
• Participate on HR & company committees.
• Work with Excellence Coordinators and HR to help track compliance and results of orientation.
• Assist HR team with yearly Learning plan set up and training of all employees
• Assist with HR during free time.
• All other duties as assigned

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: High School Diploma/ GED; Associates Degree or two years of college coursework in Communications, HR, or similar field preferred but not required; experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Schedule:

• Sunday through Thursday
• 7:30am to 4:00pm
• Pay rate: $22.00
