Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Gastonia, NC, is seeking a part-time Orientation and Mobility Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is 0.8 FTE (approx. 10 hours/month) with W-2 employment, liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) with company match.

You will implement IEPs and individualized strategies, build an inclusive classroom, and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support students with visual impairments.

Qualifications

• Must hold Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certification.
• School-based experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to provide transcripts.
