Job summary

Langley Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Organizational Development Specialist to lead and administer its core OD programs from a hybrid Newport News, VA office. You will oversee engagement, onboarding, recognition, performance cycle administration, and internship programs, partnering with People & Culture leaders to design and measure impact.

You will supervise staff, deploy and analyze surveys, craft onboarding materials, coordinate recognition events, and drive career pathing, role

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in organizational development, talent management, or human resources.
• Experience administering enterprise employee engagement surveys and reporting results.
• Experience delivering onboarding, recognition, or employee development programs from design to execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervises direct reports, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Administers the employee engagement survey program, including deployment, tracking, results, and action planning.
• Designs and executes the onboarding program, develops materials, coordinates delivery, and measures outcomes.
• Manages the employee recognition program and engagement events.
• Oversees the performance management cycle, including timeline management and communications.
• Coordinates the internship program with department leaders and evaluates outcomes.
• Assists with career pathing tools and development plans.
• Coordinates job description development and updates with managers.
• Implements inclusion initiatives across engagement, onboarding, and culture.
