Join to apply for the Organizational Design Consultant role at Segal.

We are currently recruiting for an Organizational Design Consultant to join our Organizational Effectiveness Practice (OE). This position is fully remote and open to any location, preferably in the Midwest or East. Note that there is extensive travel of 25%-40%.

The Opportunity: The individual will take on a multifaceted role that offers the chance to make a significant impact on the growth of our Organizational Effectiveness Practice. The Consultant will be a key contributor in the Practice.

The Role: The Organizational Effectiveness Consultant manages a variety of consulting projects, including strategic planning, organizational assessment, performance improvement, organizational development and design, change management, and organizational transformation. The Consultant supports senior leaders and is responsible for delivering high-quality, timely consulting services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Under the guidance of Senior Consultants, Officers, and/or Principals, manages all phases of client consulting projects, including planning, issue identification, solution design, implementation, and delivery of reports and presentations.
2. Conducts client meetings, interviews, reviews relevant data, and organizes data collection and analysis.
3. Facilitates and manages client and project teams effectively.
4. Develops and presents findings, solutions, recommendations, and action plans to stakeholders.
5. Builds and maintains long-term client relationships.
6. Supervises project team members as needed.
7. Contributes to practice development and staff resource development through coaching and mentoring.

Key Requirements:

1. 5-7 years of experience in consulting or corporate environments demonstrating leadership, facilitation, and project management skills.
2. Experience in business or strategy consulting, organizational development, or effectiveness. Experience in professional services or corporate settings is desirable.
3. Strong strategic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
5. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to manage group dynamics and conflicts.
6. Ability to navigate client challenges, cultures, and politics.
7. Willingness to travel 25%-40%.
