Synergetics is recruiting for Organizational Design Consultants within our Business Services consulting segment.

Desired candidates should have management consulting experience, with demonstrated expertise in organizational design analysis and transformations. Responsibilities include evaluating client organizations, analyzing census data, organizational structure, spans and layers, service drivers, P&L, location strategy, productivity, and offering operational and financial solutions.

The goal is to streamline client organizations, enhance communication, accelerate decision-making, reduce costs, and improve profitability. The role involves approximately 50% travel.

We are looking for an Organizational Design and Optimization Consultant to:

1. Identify and lead operational or financial improvements through data analysis and resource alignment.
2. Assess organizations to identify improvement areas and recommend changes.
3. Align resources with value-added service drivers to meet or exceed expectations.
4. Design organizational changes and evaluate their impact on internal and external experiences.
5. Develop accountability frameworks supporting organizational changes.
6. Implement strategies to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders on restructuring, process redesign, or technology integration.
8. Provide expertise on organizational behavior, change management, and workforce planning.
9. Communicate effectively across all levels to ensure buy-in for new initiatives.
10. Monitor and evaluate the impact of organizational changes.
11. Develop and benchmark Span of Control models, set improvement targets, and identify financial opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Building client relationships and understanding their current state.
2. Gathering data, conducting interviews, and observing operations.
3. Identifying problems, risks, and opportunities.
4. Creating reports and presentations to communicate findings.
5. Developing and evaluating strategies for savings and improvements.
6. Managing workplans and multiple tasks effectively.
7. Providing tool and process design recommendations, including implementation and training.
8. Collaborating on complex business solutions and continuously seeking new opportunities.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 5-10 years in management consulting, professional services, or relevant industry experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to develop sustainable recommendations.
• Project management expertise.
• Experience leading consulting teams and managing C-Suite stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA or Master’s preferred.

Job Location: Flexible locations with travel based on project needs, within one hour of an international airport.
