Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an Organization Development Consultant to support transformation efforts in the Atlanta area. You will contribute to organizational design, leadership development, and team effectiveness to help clients achieve mission outcomes.

The role supports project teams, develops client-ready products, and helps design leadership development activities, training materials, and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant OD or transformation background preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in organizational development or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD 'NACI' clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support organizational design and restructuring, analyses, and transition planning.
• Assist in change management and organization development strategies aligned to client needs.
• Contribute to leadership development activities, including training materials and coaching.
• Facilitate team effectiveness sessions and strategic planning workshops.
• Participate in organizational assessments and synthesize findings into insights.
• Support day-to-day project activities, research, and deliverable quality.
• Collaborate with project teams and engage client stakeholders under supervision.

What You Will Do

Guidehouse is seeking an Organization Development Consultant to support organizational transformation and change initiatives. This role contributes to organizational design, leadership development, and team effectiveness efforts to help clients achieve mission outcomes.

The Consultant will support project teams in delivering high-quality, client-ready products while developing core consulting and organizational development skills.

Responsibilities Include

• Support organizational design and restructuring efforts, including contributing to current and future state analyses and transition planning
• Assist in the development and implementation of change management and organization development strategies aligned with client mission and workforce needs
• Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership development activities, including training materials, workshops, and coaching support
• Help facilitate team effectiveness sessions, such as strategic planning workshops, team charters, and working sessions
• Participate in organizational assessments (e.g., culture, workforce, readiness), including data collection, analysis, and synthesis of findings into actionable insights
• Support day-to-day project activities, including research, analysis, deliverable development, and quality assurance
• Collaborate effectively with project teams and contribute to a positive team environment
• Build foundational client engagement skills through interaction with client stakeholders under supervision
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and deliverables

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree
• ONE (1) or more years of relevant experience in organizational development, organizational transformation, or a related field
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "NACI"; candidates with an ACTIVE NACI or SUITABILITY are preferred.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
• Master's degree in a related field
• Exposure to organizational design, change management, leadership development, and/or workforce transformation concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support structured approaches to complex challenges
• Ability to communicate clearly and contribute to development of client-ready deliverables
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Interest in public sector consulting and organizational transformation
• Experience planning for and supporting workshops, training sessions, or stakeholder engagement activities
• Familiarity with organizational assessment tools or frameworks
• Experience developing recommendations and communications products for various audiences
• Experience in federal health or government environments
• Interest in applying prompting and other AI capabilities in the workplace
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
