Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior management consultant lead to oversee large-scale Federal engagements in the DMV area. You will be accountable for client satisfaction, contract performance, financial health, and delivery excellence while guiding operational transformation and process modernization.

The role requires proven PMO leadership, stakeholder engagement with senior Federal officials, and hands-on governance management across risk, staffing, and metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale Federal programs, consulting engagements, or managed services operations.
• Experience briefing executive stakeholders and facilitating governance boards.
• Strong background in PMO, risk management, resource planning, staffing, and performance metrics.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree required.


• Minimum of Seven (7) years of experience leading large-scale Federal programs, consulting engagements, or managed services operations supporting civilian government agencies.


• Demonstrated experience leading operational transformation, PMO, shared services, managed services, business process improvement, or organizational change initiatives.


• Experience managing program finances, staffing, subcontractors, and contractual performance requirements.


• Experience briefing executive stakeholders and facilitating governance boards, steering committees, and leadership meetings.


• Must be in the DMV area as the candidate will be required to be in Guidehouse office in Arlington, VA or Tysons office, at least 2-3 days per week.


• PMP certification required.


• Up to 20% travel may be required.


• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.


• Must be a US citizen.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience managing enterprise data modernization, analytics, business intelligence, or cloud data platform implementations.


• Familiarity with modern data technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Analytics Services, or related platforms.


• Experience delivering data governance, reporting, data integration, or AI-enabled analytics initiatives.


• Experience supporting Human Capital, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Workforce Management, or Shared Services modernization initiatives.


• Experience managing hybrid delivery teams consisting of federal staff, contractors, and subcontractors.


• Master's degree (MBA, MPA, or related field).


• Experience with process improvement methodologies and organizational change management.


• Lean Six Sigma certification.


• CSM certification.
