Job summary

SPL is hiring an Entry-Level Lab Analyst for its Reading, PA location. This full-time, onsite role involves engaging in daily laboratory operations and supporting testing through sample preparation and analytical testing. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong preference for a Bachelor's degree in Science. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Science or related area strongly preferred.
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Previous hands-on experience in a professional or academic lab setting is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation in accordance with approved methods, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Document results within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Assist with general housekeeping and inventory management.
