Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks an Associate Chemist - Organic Extraction for the 2nd shift to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard methods, in compliance with QA programs and SOPs. This role may require standing, handling organic solvents, lab glassware and equipment.

You will perform routine sample prep, chemical analyses, data evaluation and reporting, while maintaining training docs and QC samples.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related lab experience.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Evaluate and quantify data and report results to supervisor.
• Maintain instrument and training records, QC samples and SOPs.
• Operate and maintain routine lab instruments and housekeeping tasks.
• Follow safety and QA procedures and document NCMs when needed.
