Job summary

DonorConnect in Utah is seeking a full-time Referral Manager, Organ Recovery to supervise the Organ Referral team and ensure compliant, efficient operations across the department.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, budgets, and process improvement while upholding the organization’s mission and I CARE+ values. A strong background in healthcare leadership and transplant knowledge is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' healthcare experience.
• Leadership and supervisory experience preferred in an OPO/organ procurement context.
• Knowledge of organ/tissue transplant fields and critical care environment.
• Excellent public relations and interpersonal abilities; strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage staffing, hiring, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Organ Referral team and supervise staff.
• Lead strategic planning and align departmental goals with organizational mission and values.
• Monitor finances, expenses and payroll documentation.
• Ensure quality assurance, audits, training and regulatory standards are met.
• Foster professional, respectful team interactions and development plans.
