DCI Donor Services, Inc. in Knoxville seeks a Surgical Recovery Coordinator (surgical technologist) to lead renal preservation, packaging, and distribution of organs in collaboration with transplant teams.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, healthcare experience, and basic data entry skills; bachelor’s degree preferred. The role includes competitive benefits such as medical plans, PTO, 403(b), life and disability insurance, and wellness programs.

• 1–2 years OPO or health care experience required; operating room experience preferred.
• Health-related certification and ISOP Level 1 by completion of the first year.

• Assumes primary responsibility for the renal preservation process including pumping and pump transport.
• Performs extensive on-call responsibilities to assist with the activities related to the donor recovery.
• Coordinates and assists in the surgical recovery, preservation, and packaging of organs and specimens with transplant surgeons and/or organ recovery coordinators in accordance with policies and standards.
• Coordinates and assists with fly outs and fly backs.

Tennessee Donor Services is seeking a Surgical Recovery Coordinator (surgical technologist) in Knoxville to save and enhance lives through the surgical removal, preservation, packaging, and distribution of organs.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• One to two years OPO or health care experience required, operating room experience preferred.
• Health-related certification and ISOP Level 1 by completion of the first year.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications and basic data entry skills required.
