Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Organ Preservation Technician to accurately distribute organs and specimens, and to manage data uploads for the national organ sharing IT platform. You will ensure compliance with regulatory policies and provide timely communication with transplant centers.

The role requires strong OR knowledge, multitasking, and critical thinking, with opportunities to advance in perfusion techniques.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years related experience required.
• Must have valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Distributes organs and/or specimens to transplant centers, labs and airports.
• Uploads pulsatile preservation data to national organ sharing IT platform for timely communication with centers.
• Performs all perfusion, packaging, labeling and regulatory documentation.
• Independently performs all aspects of kidney pulsatile preservation including cannulation and setup.
• Monitors and troubleshoots machine parameters and reports findings.
