Job summary

University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a Lab Research Technician III in the Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Division. The role focuses on organ-on-chip, organoid and molecular biology experiments in a collaborative, on-campus setting.

The successful candidate will perform independent laboratory work, maintain records, prepare specimens, analyze data, and contribute to project deliverables under supervision of senior staff and the PI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with Organ-on-Chip, organoid, and cell biology techniques is desired.
• Ability to analyze data, document results, and contribute to publications or grants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and run Organ-on-Chip, organoid, and related experiments.
• Perform endpoint analyses and molecular/cell biology assays; process samples.
• Analyze data, prepare figures and summaries, maintain rigorous records.
• Troubleshoot workflows and learn new techniques to work independently.
• Collaborate with PI and senior lab members to meet deliverables.
