Job summary

Emulate, Inc. is seeking a Scientist II with strong cell biology expertise to support Organ-Chip studies in neuroscience at our Boston, MA site.

You will design and execute Organ-Chip experiments, culture mammalian cells, use imaging and flow cytometry, analyze data, and present results to internal teams and partners. Qualifications: BA/BS with 2–3 years or MS with 1–2 years in neuroscience; base salary $90,000–$100,000, up to 20% annual bonus, equity, and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 2–3 years lab experience or MS with 1–2 years lab experience, ideally within a neuroscience laboratory
• Experience with mammalian cell cultures or stem cells and sterile cell culture technique
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask
• Knowledge of statistics or building in vitro models desirable

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and execute Organ-Chip experiments aligned with program and study objectives
• Seed, maintain, and monitor Organ-Chip systems
• Troubleshoot experimental challenges and refine model performance
• Communicate results and study progress to internal stakeholders and external partners
• Prepare content for presentations, technical reports, and publications
