Job summary

Lawyers For Justice P.C. seeks an Oregon-Attorney to represent clients in wage-and-hour, class and representative actions. The attorney will manage active cases, conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, and argue motions in state and federal courts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of civil litigation experience, including court appearances, and is licensed in California or Oregon (or pending admission). Travel may be required. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in California or Oregon, or pending admission to the CA/OR Bar.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, oral advocacy, and court appearances.
• Experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour matters is a plus.
• Must be able to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Represent and advocate for clients in wage-and-hour, class and representative actions.
• Manage an active caseload, conduct discovery, and respond to discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and appear in hearings and trial.
• Advise clients throughout the litigation process and pursue strong outcomes.
