Pacific Cascade Legal, LLC in Oregon is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal for a full-time, fully remote role. Prior Oregon family law experience is required and a paralegal certification is preferred; candidates with relevant experience may be considered.

• Oregon family law experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in family law or litigation.
• Paralegal certification preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of certification.
• Experience with legal case management software preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with Oregon family law matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Maintain and organize electronic case files, calendars, deadlines, and case-related tasks.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding case updates and requests.
• Assist with discovery, including gathering, organizing, reviewing, and preparing documents.
• Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, experts, and other third parties as needed.
• Assist with hearing, mediation, settlement, and trial preparation.
• Monitor case deadlines and keep matters moving forward.

Qualifications:

• Oregon family law experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in family law or litigation
• Paralegal certification preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of certification
• Experience with legal case management software preferred
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail
