Job summary

Affect is seeking a Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Counselor to deliver virtual individual and group counseling from Oregon. You will use Affect’s evidence-based curriculum in a remote setting while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate EMR documentation.

Qualified applicants reside in Oregon with active CADC-I/II/III or LCSW/LMFT/LPC licenses. Training hours for MH license may be required before start; strong telehealth platform skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Oregon and provide telehealth services from Oregon residence.
• Active and verifiable Oregon licenses CADC-I/II/III or LCSW/LMFT/LPC; all credentials verified through the State Board’s website.
• MH license requires 120 hours of training prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate Member readiness and level of care.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling using Affect’s curriculum.
• Provide crisis support and coordinate referrals when needed.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our EMR system.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors on treatment and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all state regulations.
