Qualifications

• Requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of directly related work experience.
• Complete the Light Armored Vehicle Repairman Course; or equivalent.
• Knowledge of engines, hydraulic systems, transmission and related subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic automotive mechanic duties related to inspection, maintenance and repair of the Ordnance vehicle family (diesel powered).
• Provides technical assistance and training to junior mechanics and assists senior mechanics.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
