People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks an Ordnance Logistics HAZMAT Inspector/Shipping Clerk III to support JEB Little Creek – Fort Story, VA, with a SECRET clearance. Responsibilities include coordinating munitions movement, advising on shipping holds, and ensuring compliance with DoD forms and certifications.

The role requires 3+ years of Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience, forklift operation, and preparedness to complete AMMO-62 HAZMAT training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience within the past 3 years.
• AMMO-62 Technical Transportation of HAZMAT certification is preferred; readiness to complete if not certified.
• Documentation of previous Ordnance Qualification/Certification Board involvement.
• Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
• Maintain forklift license up to 6,000 lb capacity.
• Must meet requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for official duties.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Weapons Department in day-to-day Ordnance operations.
• Coordinate with supported commands and prepare documentation to move munitions.
• Provide technical advice on movement of munitions via all transportation modes; use DD forms 2790 and 626.
• Apply at least 3 years of recent Ordnance HAZMAT shipping experience.
• Prepare for AMMO-62 HAZMAT Course if not already certified; recertification costs covered by contractor.
