Job summary

The Ascendancy Group is seeking an Ordnance Inventory Specialist for Guam to support NSWG-1. You will handle ammunition accountability, manage hazardous materials, and coordinate logistics across forward locations, ensuring compliance with Navy directives.

Applicants should have five years of OIS/AA&E experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently under mission-critical conditions. Eligible for security clearance and nationwide travel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years direct experience with Navy OIS and AA&E management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and military correspondence.
• Working knowledge of installation logistics programs and ordnance systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate handling, storage, accountability, transportation, receipt, and issue of ammunition and ordnance with 100% accountability.
• Process and maintain documentation, schedules, inventory, expenditure metrics, and records.
• Manage hazardous materials shipments per DOT, IMDG, IATA and military requirements.
• Advise Weapons Department on accountability, safety, forecasting, and procedures; suggest improvements.
• Participate in audits, inspections, discrepancy investigations, and augmentation requests.
• Establish logistics accounts to support JCET training requisitions.
• Identify, segregate, label, store, and dispose of hazardous waste per regs.
• Obtain sponsorship documents and visas for travel to mission locations as required.
• Enter, maintain, and validate data across databases; ensure cross‑referencing and accuracy.
• Prepare reports by retrieving and analyzing data to support inquiries and requirements.
• Research data discrepancies and transaction issues; escalate with documented findings.
• Conduct detailed research of complex transactions and prepare supporting documentation.
• Evaluate processes and systems; recommend improvements to boost efficiency and data integrity.
