Qualifications

• Qualification emphasis is on experience quality rather than length of time.
• Must meet screen-out element: ability to perform ordnance mechanic duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read technical orders, manuals, blueprints, and manuals for complex ordnance systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on MMHE systems and related equipment.
• Ability to plan repair sequences and modifications for ordnance in SRAN inventory.
• Capable of planning, training, and executing Combat Munitions Training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance, safety, storage, accountability and regulations for ordnance systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, test, install and overhaul ordnance equipment including AUR and complex weapon systems.
• Read and interpret technical orders, manuals, blueprints and schematics; perform calculations and measurements.
• Work independently, plan repair sequences, and modify equipment for reliability and performance.
• Perform tasks using appropriate tools and materials to complete assignments.
• Develop and train in Combat Munitions Training program requirements and schedules.
