PacSci EMC is seeking a Design Engineer to support the design, development, improvement, production, and sustainment of ordnance components and systems for mission-critical products supporting the U.S. warfighter.

This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Test, and Program Management throughout the product lifecycle and is well suited for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of mechanical/ordnance design experience; strong technical aptitude.
• Experience reading/interpreting drawings and applying GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Sustain, develop, and improve ordnance product designs through production lifecycle.
• Perform engineering analyses and create engineering documentation.
• Support prototype, qualification, production, and sustainment activities.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support to Manufacturing and Quality.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain design configuration records including drawings and BOMs.
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams across engineering disciplines.
• Support proposals and technical evaluations as required.
