Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Part-Time, 0.5 FTE Housekeeper in the Surgical Department. Shifts include 3pm-7:30pm and 4pm-8:30pm; the facility is located at 20201 South Crawford Ave, Olympia Fields, IL 60461.

This role supports cleaning, disinfecting and materials management to ensure safe patient care in OR, SPU, PACU, and related units. Ideal candidates have housekeeping or supply/stocking experience in an operating room or surgical setting; BLS within 30 days of

Overview

Department: OFIL SurgeryShift: Part-Time, Variable, 0.5 FTE, 3pm-7:30pm, 4pm-8:30pm

Compensation Range: $15.00 to $20.19

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties relating to cleaning, disinfecting and materials management support in the Surgical Department, in order to facilitate the safe and effective provision of patient care services in the Operating Room, Short Procedure Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Sterile Processing Unit and other patient units as assigned. Performs a variety of other direct and indirect patient care duties throughout the organization for adult, and geriatric patients as needed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Housekeeping, Supply / Stocking experience in an Operating Room / Surgical Setting required.
• 2. Previous patient care experience preferred.
• 3. BLS within 30 days of hire.
