Job summary

Lineage is hiring an Order Selector in Riverside, CA. You’ll operate an electric pallet jack and voice-directed technology to build orders, stack pallets tall, and prepare products for shipment, following safety standards.

The role requires courage under a fast-paced environment and weekend availability. Pay ranges from $20-$22 per hour depending on experience, with a $0.75 shift differential and $4-$9 pick incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating electric pallet jacks (ride-along preferred)
• Fast-paced production warehouse environment
• Basic math and strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand instructions in English
• Voice commands in English for picking systems
• Work in cold or hot storage conditions with PPE
• Ability to lift at least 60 lbs
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jack ride-along to pick and transport orders
• Perform pre-use safety inspections on equipment
• Use headset-based voice commands to select products by lot and code
• Build safe pallets, often over 5 feet high, following safety guidelines
• Shrink-wrap completed pallets for transport
• Label materials with identifying information
• Record quantities in site systems to maintain inventory accuracy
• Deliver orders to shipping or staging areas
• Report damaged or missing product to inventory control or supervisor
• Operate other warehouse machinery as assigned
• Collaborate with team to meet productivity and safety goals

Job description

Shift: 3PM - 1:30AM - 4x10's - weekends required

Pay: $20/hr - $22/hr DOE + .75 cent shift differential + $4 - $9 pick incentive

As an Order Selector, you’ll operate an electric pallet jack and voice-directed technology to build customer orders, assemble pallets over 5 feet tall, and prepare products for shipment— while following all company and regulatory safety standards.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jack ride-along equipment (single and double) to pick, build, and transport customer orders
• Perform required pre-use safety inspections on electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Use headset-based voice command systems to accurately select products by lot number and product code
• Build safe, stable pallets, frequently exceeding 5 feet in height, following proper stacking and safety guidelines
• Manually shrink-wrap completed pallets to secure product for transport
• Use a shrink wrap machine to securely wrap and stabilize completed pallets for transport
• Open boxes and containers as needed to access product
• Label and mark materials with identifying information
• Accurately record product quantities using site-specific systems to maintain inventory accuracy
• Stage and deliver completed orders to designated shipping or staging areas
• Identify, report, and communicate damaged, missing, or incorrect product to inventory control or a lead/supervisor

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate other warehouse machinery and material handling equipment as assigned
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals

Minimum Requirements (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating electric pallet jack equipment (ride-along preferred; single and double)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven warehouse environment
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to give voice commands in English (required for voice-directed picking systems)
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F / -25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F / 37°C in dry storage while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs / 27 kgs (weight may vary by facility)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
• Comfortable working around varying noise levels, which can be loud at times

Pay Range:$16.97 - $28.65
