Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse associate to select cases and containers of food and non-food items from multi-level racks for customer orders. You will use a pallet jack/forklift, wrap and readied shipments for loading, while following safety standards and ensuring product quality.

The role requires availability 5 days per week with Saturday shifts, part of a fast-paced team environment, and offers incentive pay and comprehensive benefits as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, gather supplies, perform safety checks on equipment, and use PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate within racks to locate products.
• Move finished orders to shipping dock; may shrink-wrap pallets for staging.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
