Job summary

Surge is seeking an Order Selector for our Chester County, PA warehouse. You will accurately pick, stage, and load products, operating a Pallet Walkie Rider and electric pallet jack while following safety procedures and company standards.

You will perform pre-operation inspections, move merchandise to storage locations, and complete shipment documentation. Prior pallet jack experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Pallet Walkie Rider/electric pallet jack required.
• Ability to safely operate Pallet Walkie Rider in a warehouse.
• NFI certification on electric pallet jack/walkie rider required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Pallet Walkie Rider/electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Complete and document required pre-operation equipment inspections.
• Load and unload freight in an efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
• Move products to designated storage areas using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise in assigned locations.
• Pick customer orders and assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Process orders, including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations.
• Verify freight accuracy and inspect products for damage or infestation.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

• Day Shift: $18.00/hr
• Overnight Shift: $19.00/hr

Schedules:

• Days: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Overnights: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM

Job Summary

Mandatory Qualifications

• Previous Pallet Walkie Rider/electric pallet jack experience is required.
• Must be able to safely operate a Pallet Walkie Rider in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to obtain NFI certification on the electric pallet jack/walkie rider.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
