Job summary

WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC seeks an Order Selector to operate in a warehouse setting, assembling pallet orders and distributing products via conveyor systems. You will handle labeling, ensure accuracy, and work cooperatively with supervisors and teammates to meet daily targets.

Hours are 7AM-3:30PM or until work is complete, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail. A strong work ethic and ability to read numbers are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Warehouse picking/order selection experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication to communicate issues with managers and team members.

• Thoroughness and accuracy in following verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Break down incoming palletized loads.
• Correctly label products and place them lengthwise on the conveyor.
• Ensure products are accurately picked and gently placed on the conveyor to prevent damage.
• Inform the shift supervisor of discrepancies between ordered and stored products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Keep work area tidy by picking up pallets, plastic, cardboard, paper, and scrap pieces of wood and placing them in designated areas.
• Work both individually and as part of a team on a daily basis.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to resolve issues.
• Maintain a professional demeanor in actions and appearance.
• Ensure a quick work pace and optimal time management to maximize productivity.
• Learn and maintain safe work practices.

Position Summary

The Order Selector is responsible for working in a team environment within a warehouse setting to complete pallet orders for distribution. This role involves accurately distributing products using a conveyor system and working with various warehouse equipment such as box cutters, tape dispensers, and powered hand jacks.

Hours: 7AM-3:30PM or until work is complete.

• Break down incoming palletized loads.
