Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is hiring for on-site selector/picker roles in a temperature-controlled warehouse. The position requires 1 year in food distribution and recent warehouse experience operating material handling equipment, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in freezer/cooler conditions.

You will use handheld scanners and RF devices to accurately pick, pack, and cycle-count inventory while adhering to FEFO policies.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience in food distribution.
• Must have warehouse experience/using material handling equipment within the past six months.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
• Listing up to 75lbs continuously.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify the accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products.

• Must have experience using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, stand-up trucks, stand-up dock trucks, and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify the accuracy of orders and product quality

SelectorOrders/Pickers:

• Must have expe rience meeting/exceeding a cases per hour (CPH) standard
• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What YoWhat you’ll Bring:

• Must have one (1) year of experience in food distribution
• Must have warehouse experience/using material handling equipment within the past six (6) months
• Comfort working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Listing up to 75lbs continuously
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

SchedulSchedule & Setting:

• Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer:-5°F to 38°F)
• Must be available to work at night, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Must be able to work until all tasks are completed

Pay & BBenefits:

• $23.23/hr, not including pay for performance (PFP)
• After your 90- day probation period, the pay will increase to$25.34/hr. Not including pay for performance (PFP)
• Weekly pay(every Friday)
• Health, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days. The company pays 60% of the premium.
