Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is hiring a Warehouse Selector in Pineville. You’ll work in a multi-temperature, on-site warehouse, starting at 4am. This full-time role features a 4-day work week, weekly pay, and a $23.97/hour base plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus, with benefits after 30 days.

You’ll move, pick, and verify orders, using RF scanners and voice-directed picking to keep the supply chain running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Selector – Pineville

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

In This Roll, You'll

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
• Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets per customer orders
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely in high-traffic warehouse areas
• Visually inspect and verify all incoming/outgoing product
• Maintain safety, productivity, and cleanliness standards at all times Read labels, count product, and complete order paperwork Support team with cleaning and additional duties as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Valid forklift certification / Electric Pallet Jack and 1yr+ of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting:

• Full time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer:-5°F to 38°F)
• Primarily a 4-day work week, start time 4am
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for extended period
