Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) seeks a Warehouse Selector in Phoenix to support a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse. You will safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts, inspect shipments, and use RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory and orders.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and safety in a dynamic environment. Expect a 4-day work week with weekend work and holiday coverage, plus benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
• Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets per customer orders
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely in high-traffic warehouse areas
• Visually inspect and verify all incoming/outgoing product
• Maintain safety, productivity, and cleanliness standards at all times Read labels, count product, and complete order paperwork
• Support team with cleaning and additional duties as needed

Warehouse Selector – Phoenix

What You’ll Do

In This Roll, You’ll

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)

What You’ll Bring

Selector (Picker) Specific

• Valid forklift certification / Electric Pallet Jack and 1yr+ of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting

• Sundays off
• Full time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: -5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 4-day work week, start time 8am-6:30pm
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for extended period
