Job summary

Old Wisconsin seeks a Warehouse/Receiving associate to verify quality, unload trucks, and support shipping on busy shifts. You will enter data into the AX system, use an RF gun for inventory tracking, and rotate product while supporting inventory counts.

The role requires 1–3 years of warehouse experience, forklift certification, and solid knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF guidelines. Basic MS Office and AS/400 skills are essential; overtime may be required during peak periods.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into AX system and unload meat trucks at multiple locations.
• Verify incoming materials and assist shipping with outbound orders.
• Pick orders, load/unload trucks, rotate product, and count inventory.
• Cross-train in Shipping and Receiving; work in Receiving as needed.
• Operate RF gun and use Warehouse Management System for inventory control.
• Report food safety problems to QA and management; ensure safe, quality product.

Provides feedback to Line Leaders and Assistant Reviewer of discrepancies and makes recommendations for corrections.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Enter data into AX system.Unload meat trucks at multiple locations.Verifies incoming materials.Assists the shipping department with the movement of finished packaged goods to the customer/ consumer.Pick orders, loads/ unloads trucks, rotate product and participate in inventory counting.Expected to be cross-trained in all areas of Shipping and Receiving department; work in Receiving as needed.Basic computer knowledge in MS Office products as well as AS/400 required.Will be required to work in Warehouse Management System, including a RF gun used to track levels of inventory.Overtime may be frequent during peak production periods.Other duties as assigned.Takes responsibility of work area to produce a safe and quality food product. Ability to use other industrial equipment as needed.Requires a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. CDL Classifications preferred.Physical and Work Environment Requirements:Must be able to stand/ walk for 8-9 hours per day.Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, up to 100 pounds occasionally.Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and squat, reach above shoulders as needed for day to day responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties.Must have good hand and eye coordination.Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less.Must be able to work overtime, during peak production periods.
