Welser Profile North America in Valley City, OH seeks a Production Planner to create and release production orders, manage capacity reservations, and coordinate with manufacturing to meet on-time delivery goals.

The role requires SAP/MRP proficiency, strong Excel skills, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. English is mandatory; German is a plus. Travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP is essential.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and support operations management initiatives.
• Language: English required; German language skills are a plus.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel periodically for group meetings or training.

• Provide backup support for planning and administrative functions as required.
