Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an Order Picker/Packer to assemble orders for shipping in our Tallmadge, OH facility. You will use requisitions and order sheets to select items, place them in containers, inspect for accuracy and damage, and prepare shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RF equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and packs products based on daily orders.
• Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Operates equipment such as Bendi, Palletizer, Dolly Loader, Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, and Electrical Pallet Jacks.
• Reports any mechanical problems.
• Follows good manufacturing practices and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

SummaryThe Order Picker/Packer will prepare orders for shipping. They will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in containers and bins following specific instructions. The picker/packer will check containers for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected.
