Job summary

Ōnin Staffing is seeking an Order Picker Operator to support our Indianapolis-area warehouse. You will move materials, pick orders, and help uphold safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with sit-down or stand-up forklifts, perform cycle counts, and log activities in the WMS.

Training is provided for peak season; weekly pay and benefits are included. A minimum of 1 year in powered industrial trucks and a valid forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year operating powered industrial trucks (Stand-up Reach or Order/Cherry Picker).
• Prior forklift certification is preferred and can boost candidacy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and basic digital inventory systems.
• Strong attendance and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage areas using sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
• Order Picking: Efficiently pull orders from high-bay racking to prepare for outgoing distribution. Narrow Aisle, Wire Guided Order Picking
• Inventory Integrity: Perform cycle counts and ensure all movements are logged accurately in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean work environment and adhere strictly to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
