Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Jeffersonville, IN seeks an advanced Order Picker to operate a turret truck and accurately pick customer orders on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm) with overtime as needed.

You will perform quality checks, verify stock, repackage orders, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Must read, write and communicate in English; training on turret truck and heights up to 35' may be required.

• Must be able to move up to 50+ pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with order picking and material handling is preferred.

Your Opportunity

Taylor Corporation is looking for an advanced Order Picker to run a turret truck at the Jeffersonville, IN facility.

Work Authorization

Your Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of picking customer orders
• Perform quality checks
• Verifies stock availability and stock shelves
• Repackage orders
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Cleans and maintains a safe working environment
• Maintains related records

You Must Have

• Must be able to use a ring scanner, manual equipment and powered material handling equipment (i.e. order picker or lift)
• Must be willing to train on and run a Turret Truck and be comfortable with heights up to 35'
• Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math
• Detail oriented
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment where you maintain and enhance department goals
• Effectively communicate and work in a team environment
• Self-motivated and able to multi task
• Certifications required for use of powered equipment

Requirements Within This Position

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer

• More than 2 years' experience in Pick/Packing
