Job summary

DRiV in Paragould, AR is seeking a second-shift picker to support our distribution operations. You will accurately pick customer orders using the OLEC voice-pick system and decide whether items go to packaging or the dock.

Responsibilities include precise order picking, proper stacking, and collaboration with teammates across shifts in a fast-paced environment. Eligibility to work in the U.S. and background checks are required.

Qualifications

PURPOSE OF POSITION (Statement of Job)

To fill customer specific orders-100% accurately and provisionally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma OR general education degree (GED) required; one to three months related experience and/or training preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Forklift Driver Certification not required upon initial hire, but must be obtained after employment is offered

SAFETY

All employees are required to wear assigned PPE when entering the distribution center. The employee must maintain a clean and safe work area using all safety equipment, safety glasses with side shields, steel-toed safety shoes, guards, report all safety violations, and report any accidents, injuries immediately Employees must perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all safety rules and instructions.
