Job summary

Euro USA Midwest is seeking an Order Selector to pick and stage orders for customer delivery, maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment with attention to quality and accuracy. You will move and lift up to 85 lbs, operate RF scanners, and use forklift equipment as needed while coordinating with teammates to ensure timely, correct shipments in a food warehouse setting.

Strong reading skills and basic math help verify orders against shipping tickets, and you will follow all safety

Qualifications

• MUST have at least one year of order picking experience.
• RF Scanner experience is preferable, but not required.
• Forklift certification or power-truck equipment certification is required/preferred.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions.
• Must be able to work as a team with co-workers and other departments.
• Possess basic math and reasoning skills.

Position Summary

The Order Selector is responsible for picking and staging orders for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process orders for shipping - pull items, palletize, wrap and stage for shipment


• Maintain an organized dock area to ensure proper loading and safety


• Maintain quality in the warehouse and immediately report damaged product or equipment to the Warehouse Manager


• Maintain quality service by following organization standards


• Maintain safe and clean work environment during and after the shift by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Working Conditions

• Ability to move/lift up to 85 lbs.


• Ability to withstand cool/cold temperatures in a typical food warehouse environment


• Position spends 6 – 8 hours standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing


• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements
