Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. seeks an Order Picker to efficiently fill customer orders from pick tickets, label containers, and ensure accurate inventory handling. The role includes using RF scanners, weighing and labeling items, and performing quality checks to avoid damaged materials.

The incumbent will operate forklifts when needed, adhere to safety procedures, and assist with loading/unloading shipments while handling up to 50 pounds. GED or high school diploma required.

Job description

Order Picker - Fill and complete customer orders from pick tickets, label or mark containers with identifying information, perform quality checks to identify and replace damaged materials, band or shrink wrap products and material orders, operate RF scanners in order to accurately fill orders and effectively manage inventory, adhere to health and safety requirements, carry out loading and unloading material orders and shipments, pull inventory from racks, containers and floor storage areas either manually or using forklifts, and weigh individual crates and pallets, utilize basic hand tools. Basic understanding to use lifting straps and other rigging. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Incumbent is expected to cope - due to experience - with multiple choice situations in number of processes and routines. Thinking is about applying / adapting the "right" procedure to a process or an issue arising. Unexpected situations need effective solution.

Experience

3 year vocational training or 3 years practical experience needed.

Education

GED or High School Diploma required.

Work Schedule

MON - THU 6:30 AM - 4 PM & FRI 7-11 AM with a 30 minute lunch
