Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an Order Picker to support our production and distribution operations. You will pick customer orders, verify stock and package items for shipment, while keeping accurate records and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires using a ring scanner and powered equipment, reading and counting accurately, and the ability to work independently on a fast-paced team. First shift is Monday through Friday, 10am–6:30pm, in Fridley, MN.

Qualifications

• Must read and count accurately and do simple math.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting department goals.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

• Certification required for equipment.

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Order Picker.

Work Authorization:

To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensures accuracy of picking customer orders
• Perform quality checks
• Verifies stock availability and stock shelves
• Repackage orders
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Cleans and maintains a safe working environment
• Maintains related records

Your Shift:

1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm

You Must Have:

• Must be able to use a ring scanner, manual equipment and powered material handling equipment (i.e. order picker or lift)
• Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math
• Detail oriented
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment where you maintain and enhance department goals
• Effectively communicate and work in a team environment
• Self-motivated and able to multi task
• Certification Required for equipment

Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

More than 2 years Experience in Pick/Packing

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $19.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The rate listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
